Great facilities for that precious time off so you can kick back and relax.

There is BBQ area for social times. We have a laundry free of charge. A Lounge room with TV, DVD is at the front of the building. We have a Dart board and a new pool table for other recreation.And have we mentioned the fishing?

Located only a few kilometres east of Ingham this property nestles in the midst of thousands of acres of sugar cane country in the shadow of awesome Hinchinbrook Island.

The harbour at Lucinda where all the charter boats leave for tours to Hinchinbrook and the channel, also boasts the world’s longest offshore sugar-loading jetty. This region is also known to be one of the most prolific fishing grounds in north Queensland. This is truly a tropical paradise with its pristine beaches, islands and meandering waterways.

We are well worth a visit for some real Aussie Country hospitality where the clock is turned back to experience a small slice of Queensland history. We have undercover car parking for most vehicles and plenty of yard space for boats, trucks etc.

There is 24 hour surveillance by our staffy, Miss BB.

Breakfast is self serve cereal, toast, tea and coffee. Lunches are packed and provided with plenty of smoko treats. Dinner is provided as per a weekly menu Monday to Friday, unless otherwise arranged.

On days off there is a host of things to do locally, including fishing, golf course across the road or just exploring -  and did I mention “The Fishing”?!

We are located 18 kms from Ingham and 2 kms from Halifax. Halifax has a convenience store, fuel, ambulance and also a bait and tackle shop.

Halifax also has a hotel with a courtesy bus on weekends. Ingham has our new Hospital.

The Macknade Golf Course is truly, just across the road and very reasonably priced. Fishing can be off the bank locally or hire boats are available for reef fishing at Lucinda – 12 kms.

Surrounded by waterfalls and mountains there is much to see and do in this beautiful area of Northern Queensland. The  boat ramp just down the road.
